1Strategy began its journey just over 4 years ago. We cannot fathom how far we’ve come. We’ve had the privilege of working with many great customers over those years and have now become part of the TEKSystems Global Services family.
AWS Partnership and Competencies
1Strategy continues to be an exclusive Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) Premier Consulting Partner, which solidifies 1Strategy’s proficiency and historical success in helping businesses utilize the AWS ecosystem. In 2019, 1Strategy was awarded the AWS Machine Learning Competency status. In addition, 1Strategy is a was highlighted at re:Invent as launch partner for Amazon Personalize, having been the only partner bringing a real customer use-case prior to launch. Last, but not least, 100% of our technical delivery team holds at least one AWS Certification with 85% of the team having earned a professional or specialty AWS Certification as well.
Events
1Strategy held many educational and networking events throughout 2019, from monthly Meetup groups to Lunch and Learn events, we’ve been busy sharing our AWS expertise. Events include, but are not limited to:
- Hosted 9 monthly AWS Meetup lunch group in Utah, offering topics ranging from Thinking Asynchronously to Machine Learning to Data Warehousing and more
- Co-hosted first ever Women in Big Data Meetup group in Seattle, in conjunction with Women in Big Data group and Amazon Web Services
- Presented several Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Tech Talks in Seattle and Salt Lake City markets
- Guest presenter at Windows Migration Event (hosted by AWS), Flow Factor Conference, PAX West Developer Day, and the Silicone Slopes – St. George Meetup group
Customer Successes
We’ve had the privilege of working on some amazing projects this year. As we help our customers get the most from AWS, we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of Cloud Computing. Our projects include:
- Helping IDbyDNA with their HIPAA compliant migration to AWS
- Enabling Entrata to price student housing correctly and fill apartments to capacity with Amazon SageMaker
- Helping Navitaire give their customers a cost-effective AI/ML solution hosted to deliver customized offers to travelers
- Delivering first State and Local government projects
Since the beginning of the AWS Well-Architected Program, 1Strategy was chosen as one of the original partners who was qualified and authorized to conduct a Well-Architected Review and provide remediation. We also had the privilege to be selected as a launch Partner when the program became public in 2018. In 2019, 1Strategy conducted 37 reviews with 29 associated remediation projects completed by the end of December 2019.
